Women's Life Coach SaraLou bathed in sunlight

Hello, I’m SaraLou…

I’m a women’s coach, former NHS GP, yoga teacher, and passionate guide for high-achieving women who are done living successful lives that quietly cost them their peace, their energy, and their sense of self.

I work with women who are deeply capable and deeply tired.

Women who are brilliant at holding things together. Women who are trusted, relied on, and often admired for how much they can carry. Women who have achieved so much — and yet know, somewhere inside, that the way they’ve been living and succeeding is no longer sustainable.

They don’t want to give up their ambition. They don’t want to become less driven, less caring, or less powerful.

They simply know: it cannot keep costing this much.

And I believe that too.

What I stand for

I believe too many women have been taught to succeed by overriding themselves.

To keep performing. To keep coping. To keep being the strong one. To keep meeting every need, holding every role, and carrying every invisible load — often while becoming further and further disconnected from themselves.

On the outside, it can look like success.

But on the inside? It can feel like pressure. Exhaustion. Resentment. Numbness. A quiet grief. A life that works for everyone else more than it works for you.

I am deeply devoted to changing that.

Because I do not believe women were made to spend their one wild, precious lives proving how much they can endure.

I believe we need a new way.

A way where success does not require self-abandonment. A way where ambition gets to coexist with softness, truth, rest, and self-respect. A way where women can be extraordinary without living in constant pressure, depletion, or survival mode.

That is the world I care about creating. That is the work I’m here for. And that is the movement behind everything I do.

Why this work is personal

Before I became a coach, I spent over 17 years working as a doctor, including more than a decade as an NHS GP.

I had the privilege of supporting thousands of women through stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, motherhood, hormonal shifts, life transitions, loss, and the quiet emotional labour of being the one who keeps everything going.

And again and again, I saw the same pattern: women who looked fine from the outside while privately running on empty.

Women who were functioning. Managing. Delivering. Holding it all together.

But underneath that competence was often a different truth: they were exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, and aching for something more spacious, more honest, and more sustainable.

I didn’t just witness that pattern in others. I lived it too.

My own path has taken me through fertility struggles, miscarriage, grief, burnout, major life transitions, motherhood, and the deep inner reckoning that comes when the life you’re living no longer feels like it fits who you are becoming.

I know what it is to keep going while quietly feeling far from yourself. I know what it is to look capable while craving relief. And I know what it is to reach the point where “coping” is no longer enough.

That moment changed me.

It asked me to stop performing and actually come home to myself. To become more heart led. More compassionate. More grounded. More willing to live in a way that felt true — not just impressive, productive, or acceptable to others from the outside.

That journey is part of what shaped this work. And it is why I hold it with so much depth, reverence, and fire.

My approach

My work blends science and soul, depth and practicality.

I bring together:

  • my medical background and understanding of stress, burnout, and the mind-body connection

  • trauma-informed transformational coaching

  • nervous system and somatic tools

  • mindfulness, embodiment, and self-inquiry

  • deep compassion, clear insight, and whole-person support

But what I offer is more than a list of modalities.

I offer women a space to exhale. A space to tell the truth. A space to unravel old patterns of over-responsibility, over-functioning, and self-abandonment. A space to reconnect with their own needs, values, voice, and power.

This is not surface-level coaching. This is not about becoming better at pushing through. And this is not about turning you into a shinier, more efficient version of burnout.

This is deeper work.

Work that helps you understand why you’ve been carrying so much for so long. Work that helps you come back into relationship with yourself. Work that supports you to create a life that feels more grounded, spacious, sustainable, and fully yours.

At the heart of my work is my signature framework:

The Thrive Bright Method™ (THB™)

  • Explore the patterns, pressures, and protective strategies keeping you stuck in burnout, overwhelm, or survival mode

  • Reconnect with yourself, your body, your truth, your needs, and the life you genuinely want

  • Empower yourself to make meaningful changes with clarity, self-trust, and support

Because insight is powerful. But embodied change is what transforms a life.

Why women come into my world

Women come into my world when they are no longer available for living on autopilot.

When they are tired of being endlessly capable but inwardly depleted. When they are ready to stop carrying everything alone. When they want support that is warm, wise, spacious, intelligent, and real.

They come because they want to:

  • loosen the grip of burnout and overwhelm

  • stop living in chronic pressure and overdrive

  • feel calmer, clearer, and more grounded in themselves

  • break patterns of people-pleasing, over-functioning, and self-neglect

  • create healthier boundaries and more honest relationships

  • navigate change and transition with steadiness and self-trust

  • redefine success in a way that feels nourishing, not punishing

  • feel alive in their own lives again

But beneath all of that, what they are often really longing for is this:

To come home to themselves and to feel like their favourite version of them again.

To no longer measure their worth by how much they can hold. To no longer confuse survival with strength. To no longer build a life that looks good while feeling quietly unsustainable.

The heart of my work

I am here for the woman who is done abandoning herself in order to be successful, purposeful and capable.

I am here for the woman who wants more than coping. More than functioning. More than making her way through life with gritted teeth and a brave face.

I am here for the woman who wants a life that feels like hers.

A life with space in it. A life with truth in it. A life with joy, steadiness, rest, connection, and meaning in it. A life where she gets to be deeply ambitious and deeply human. A life she doesn’t have to recover from.

That is what I want for women. That is what I care about. And that is why I do this work.

You’re welcome here…

If something in you is tired of the old way… If something in you is longing for a more honest, spacious, sustainable way to live and succeed… If something in you knows it is time…

You are so welcome here.

You do not need to have all the answers. You do not need to be in crisis. You do not need permission to want more for your life than endless coping.

You only need the willingness to begin.

And if you’re ready, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
